Process - 2nd Semester Home Project

For my 2nd semester home project, I think this will be a portfolio project than something conected to what I'm doing now. These canvas were originally white, but I painted them black with multiple coats, though, I don't know if I'll keep it that way. My original idea was to have a dragon going through it and somehow connect the two pieces together, but now because I'm not doing 3d stuff going through the canvas anymore, I don't think I want to continue that again. I like the design that I got on one of the canvas so far, but I need to figure out how to elevate it further because it's very black and empty right now, which is a big contrast to my art right now. What I might do is connect it to childhood or my life, so I might scrap this current idea. But so far, I've just been going with the flow and doing stuff randomly.
