Process - Project #6

Compared to the last project I did, I had more of an idea for this project. But it did come with a lot of setbacks. Originally, during my process, I had it very 2d. But that also limited me a lot and it didn't look dynamic enough for a comic book style, which is what I try to achieve here. I randomly thought of putting the text and bubbles, but I think it came through like the cover of a comic someone could pick up.

The final product turned out so much better. My composition and style was much more redefined; I took Coach's advice to go 3d, and I think that ended up working really well. I added more text too, to show more of that comic-feel, and misspelling them because my piece isn't centering on a specific comic, but just comics as a whole, so my piece is more of a ripoff to them. I think the collage also mixes pretty cool with it. People pointed out that maybe I have too much in my work, which also sacrifices a lot of time, so I'll try experimenting with less next time.
